| Project Financial Planning — Address the most common request we here from faculty,
"How much money do I have left to spend on this project?" This will involve many releases and probably take several years to realize
fully. The goal is to allow PIs and RAs to work together to create a financial plan for the project and see the remaining "spendable
balances". Early releases will probably focus on helping RAs create financial planning spreadsheets. Later releases will include planning
functionality in the web interfaces. The ultimate goal may be to allow faculty to develop scenarios, such as what happens if I hire a postdoc,
to reveiw with their RA, adjust as needed, and encorporate in the targeted plan. |
